There are different kinds of Ayurvedic massage and each one focuses on a different health problem or generally on revival and wellness. They are relaxing and therapeutical thanks to the knowledge of the Ayurvedic science (coming from the Vedic civilization of ancient India). They really work in depth, using herbs and warm herbal oils based on each person’ s body type and can fight stress, insomnia, articulation pains, negative feelings, rheumatics, swellings, muscular pains etc.
Shiatsu (1 hour, Thomai Damala).
Japanese method rooting back on the Traditional Chinese Medical science, it balances the good vital energy. Shiatsu means to press with fingers (shi= finger, atsu= pressure). The pressure is put on the “meridians”, channels where "good energy" flows (like acupuncture). The channels can be blocked due to bad nurturing habits, lack of exercise, stress… It has visible results like: sense of relief, you regain a calm and rejuvenating sleep, better vital functions of the body etc.
Therapeutical-Αthletic (1 hour, Grigoris Vlachopoulos).
It’ s a massage which relieves you from the muscular pains and the strain, softens and lengthens the muscular tissues, improves the readiness and the activity, helps one to recover, improves the blood circulation and the lymphatic flow, decreases the inherent growths in the body tissues.
